Great selection of older ebike motor models, many were unused warranty replacements. This is presumably because they weren't needed for reliable Yamaha motors. "New in box," however, doesn't mean the box wasn't opened and then completely and somewhat loosely re-packaged, but the unit I got is clearly new. Save your old mounting hardware, nameplates etc. as this is a truly bare-bones motor! There are only two wire harnesses so it's easy-peasy plag-n-play
